Well, as I try to catch up on all to stay a float like most of us, I am writing this post for a guest slot for week 6. I am involved with a group of women to enhance and reflect on our lives through various tasks each week. I have admittedly been behind from the start. I am also a slacker in this regard. But what I can say is this has made me more conscious to take some time each day and keep a journal, to meditate, and take time for me.
I would like to reflect on simple pleasures that I have fully embraced these last few weeks since we started. One was a beautiful family vacation overseas! I let go of everything and put myself in the moment to enjoy all the interactions of family members I miss so much. So my high for last week, was to continue to stay in the moment. Find time to stay focused and my low was falling back into the patterns we all have! For me it would be taking on too much and becoming overwhelmed! But, I find each day I am getting better at this through these simple exercises.
Getting back into the routine home, we have taken time to smell the roses, walk on the beach, walk the dog and enjoy the sun. One new found joy, is the friendships I am making as I figure out this social media and business model I strive for. Simple pleasures that when I do every day, I am much happier and able to complete my tasks throughout the weeks with ease!
